![]() Hanna Fushihara lives and works in New York and is the sole curator for HaNNa gallery in Tokyo, Japan where she is also the buyer for HaNNa’s clothing line. Fushihara’s own curatorial project, littlecakes is an online art extravaganza gracing the world with extraordinary artist-made works including paintings, drawings, accessories, one-of-a-kind clothing. Acting as an "art distributor", littlecakes has hosted two exhibitions in Fushihara’s apartment. HaNNa started out as a retail store in the shopping area of Harajuku in Tokyo 4 years ago. It has always sold handcrafted clothing, accessories and printed matter. In August of 2003, they relocated to the Ginza area of Tokyo where they downsized the retail portion of HaNNa and added a large gallery space hosting exhibitions every 2 months. Previous exhibitions include: "Piled High," an artists book/comic show Feral Childe's "Sherwood Forest" Dearraindrop "for the wet rainbow." Hanna Fushihara is also in a performance band, Animental. Littlecakes While Seth Faergolzia is known more for his musical projects of the weirdo-beardcore tendencies, including his band Dufus (on ROIR Records) and his solo acoustic performances, he also spends much of his time on paintings, sculpture (soft and hard) and post-apocalyptic fashions of fun. The press has spoken highly of Seth's ability to transform the world around him in whatever medium he chooses. It has been said that "listening to Dufus is like being thrust into a child’s drawing…It’s capable of changing the world” and that he "vents the universe into non-pretentious punk fiber art." In 1998, Seth embarked on an exploration of musical theatre, combining his unusual music with equally strange performance art into the rock opera Fun Wearing Underwear, which staged nearly two-dozen performances at Surf Reality on New York's Lower East Side, as well as Dumba, SUNY Purchase, Bard College, and Sidewalk Cafe. During the second month of Fun Wearing Underwear's performance, Seth began creating his Celibacy Pants, which in 2000, were featured alongside pieces by Jean Michel Basquiat in a showing at the now defunct DNA Gallery in SoHo.
